FOUNDATIONAL PRODUCTS 1 - 2 - 3
Along with the basic diet program given on the Equine Nutrition page, these
are the basic products which ideally ALL horses would get for the very best
nutrition of all. Many will never need any of the Specialty Products at all.
Our 3 pasture-potato, geriatric (ages 21-29) horses receive only these
Basics (using 1 serving of TNT per day per horse) plus of course their fresh
water, free choice North Park grass hay, & 2 cups BOSS per day.
1) FREE CHOICE MINERAL POWDERS
Because we have removed our horses' ability to forage on plants growing in a
variety of soils, these 4 Free Choice mineral powders offer those minerals which
missing from our own pastures and the hay we purchase. It is up to the horse to
pick and choose what is right for it. Frequently horses will initially splurge on
one or more, and then ease back. More tends to be consumed during seasonal
changes. Designed to be fed WITH the Dynamite "vitamins" of choice described
below.

 a loose, naturally-mined salt from ancient sea beds - for use in

geriatrics. Fed at only 1 oz per day for mature "pasture
potatoes", the on-going positive results make it even more
cost-effective than the original cost. In addition to finding that it
can give the most "bang for the buck," it is definitely
recommended for ALL hard working horses including

Generally speaking, most horses should be on the Foundational Products
above for 3-4 months before giving any of the Specialty Products. We say
this because it takes the blood about 4 months to fully renew itself. When
