What's new?
- This month I am offering two new articles this month: one on
Allergies and one on Liver & Gall Bladder Cleansing. These both really go together, along with Colon Care, so do re-read that one, too!
- I have spoken before of the LED unit available at www.
lightsoundtechnology.com. And I have had tremendous success with it myself. I highly recommend this affordable adjunct to good nutrition and bodywork for all sorts of injuries/illnesses. The developer, Jana Sullivan, even uses her unit, set on blue Theta, to help her sleep at night. So now, for those of you who do not believe that such an item can really work, here are two articles that speak volumes.

Book Review
Pain Free: A Revolutionary Method for Stopping Chronic Pain by Pete Egoscue. Are you bothered by Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? Looking at shoulder surgery? Or back surgery because of sciatica? Suffering with bad knees? Looking at a possible hip replacement? This book may be just the answer for you! Based on sound physiological principles (the author has been an anatomical physiologist since 1978) and very simple moves and holds you can do at home, thousands of people have avoided not only surgery but chronic aches and pains throughout their bodies. Egoscue uses my old favorite of specific yoga exercises performed with modern concepts to effect lasting changes in how you use your body in an ergonomic way. One lady we know of has had remarkable changes in her feet, ankles and knees since beginning this program. And you can too! Especially if you are also on the alkaline diet I recommend, take the superior Dynamite supplements (especially Elixir and Izmine to help both ligament and bone strength) and perhaps get some really good Neuromuscular Therapy and shine that previously mentioned LED light on those joints! I cannot recommend this book highly enough!
Did You Know? from http://www.healthynewsletter.com
- ...that most, if not all, vaccines for children contain a form of
processed free glutamic acid (MSG), a known neurotoxin. Aschner et al. found that when free glutamic acid is used in combination with mercury, the damaging effects of the glutamic acid are intensified.
Yet another reason, in addition to all those given in Vaccines, to think perhaps more than twice about vaccinating anything/one in your care and to avoid MSG which is in virtually all processed foods whether indicated specifically on the label or not - could be called "flavor enhanser" or somesuch..
- ... that organic varieties of tomato ketchup contain three times
as much of the cancer-fighting chemical called lycopene as non- organic brands.
If you grow your own tomatoes with RxTx or HumiZyme, you'll be increasing the nutritional value of your tomatoes, and any other edible you grow, far beyond even the lycopene content!
- ... that capsaicin, the natural compound that makes peppers
hot, has a preventative influence on pancreatic cancer cells in laboratory experiments. In research studies, capsaicin caused the cancer cells to self-destruct in a process called apoptosis, while not affecting normal pancreatic cells.
Also proven effective, at least with Dynamite distributors is strengthening the immune system by adding SOD to the basic program for whatever species requires extra support.
- ... that U.S. researchers have reported broccoli, along with red
chili peppers mentioned above, may help fight cancer by slowing the growth of cancerous tumor cells.
So eat your veggies! Of course, high doses of Vit. C can too, with patented Ester-C being proven to be 4x as digestible and effective. Dynamite offers Ester-C in bulk powder or capsules plus as the major ingredient in Hiscorbadyne where it is blended with the rest of the C-complex (rutin, bioflavanoids, etc.). .
- ... andropause is the tag-name for the male counterpart of
menopause, inclusive with hormonal changes that can present a number of health concerns such as moodiness, memory loss, a decline in sex drive, and a lack of energy, strength and endurance. As with women, the proper diet can deter these symptoms.
The key mineral nutrient for the male reproductive tract is zinc with the Dynamite Zinc+ being especially chelozoned for just that purpose.
Points to Ponder
- Alzheimer's.....that word brings waves of fear to most people.
However......Studies have already revealed how essential water is to human health -- it helps with digestion, keeps the skin healthy and removes toxins from the body. However, a recent study uncovered another benefit of drinking water: A high concentration of silica in drinking water seemed to protect against Alzheimer's disease. The findings stemmed from an offshoot of an osteoporosis study -- Epidemiology of Osteoporosis Study (EPIDOS) -- that included some 7,600 women older than 75 from five French cities whose mental acuity was measured at the start of the study. The participants' intake of water, tap versus mineral, was determined through a questionnaire. (Data on levels of silica, calcium and aluminum were derived from local water companies and companies that distributed mineral water.) During the first phase of the study, researchers found women who had normal or higher mental function at the start had a higher daily intake of silica. This link remained significant, statistically, even after taking age, location, income, education level and history of stroke into account. The second phase, which followed up with women from a particular city seven years later, revealed women who developed Alzheimer's were almost three times more likely to have a significantly reduced daily intake of silica than those who didn't have it. Thus, a low silica concentration was associated with low cognitive performance. In light of these findings, researchers believe silica to be a natural antidote to aluminum, which has been previously linked to the formation of plaque in the brain. Therefore, it was concluded that silica in drinking water may reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's in elderly women; however, the potential effect of this chemical needs to be confirmed in further investigations. Yet another of many reasons to drink Elixir-laced water or take Dynamite minerals or Cell Mend which is a silica specific!
- Vaccines ... More and more information in coming out all the
time as to the safety and efficacy of vaccines. Recently there have been mind-expanding articles on 2 of the holistic sites from which I receive newsletters and thought I would share them with you because of their importance. The first article is entitled "Why Don't the Amish Have Autistic Children?"; the difference is they don't vaccinate. [http://www.mercola. com/2005/may/4/amish_autism.htm]. The second article, entitled "Dispelling Vaccination Myths" [http://chetday. com/vaccinationmyths.htm] goes into great detail discussing 10 popular myths concerning vaccines and vaccinations that a tremendous amount of modern research are showing to be untrue. Unfortunately, numerous physicians have not read their own journals in which many of these studies are published.
For discussions of alternatives, please read Universal Basics: Vaccines. One of the MAIN things to remember about vaccines is that even the vaccine inserts point out that if an individual, whether human or animal,is ill or has a stressed immune system in any way, that body should NOT receive any vaccine whatsoever!
- Mammograms ... Are annual mammograms REALLY the way to
go to discover breast cancer? Truthfully, I have never had a mammogram and absolutely never intend to. The concept of squeezing delicate breast tissue and pouring XRays into that same delicate tissue always rang totally false to me. Plus it seemed to me that some of the purported good results of finding very early, miniscule cancers, could very well have been caused by the process itself. And to think of the number of women who have had breast removal based on this! Regardless, apparently others agree with me. For some great thoughts to ponder on this subject, and the importance of monthly self-examination of breast tissue, link to http: //drbenkim.com/articles-mammograms.html
Of course following our suggested alkaline pH diet, avoiding toxins as much as possible, and taking all the Dynamite basics plus Hiscorbadyne is essential for optimal balance. Adding in SOD if there ARE tumors found seems in numerous cases to be the very boost some immune systems need to get beyond tumors of all kinds.
- Prostate Cancer . . . Along these same lines is a study
conducted by Dr. Peter Albertsen at the University of Connecticut and appearing in May's Journal of the American Medical Association. However, this one has to do with an option for treating prostate cancer. The result? No treatment. The study involved 767 Connecticut men aged 55-74 diagnosed between 1971 and 1984 with localized prostate cancer and, rather than surgical removal, received either hormone therapy or "watchful waiting." A total of 228 men died with the first 15 years, all of whom had high-grade tumors which, researchers concluded, suggested that "if you survive 15 years, it is unlikely that the tumor will turn ugly and progress." http://jama.ama- assn.org JAMA Vol 293 #17, May 04, 2005
We know that taking extra zinc, especially in the form of the Dynamite Zinc+, can give the body the building blocks it requires for strong prostates in the first place, in addition to the suggestions in the mammogram note above..
- Epesiotomies . . . From the same issue of JAMA also comes
news on epesiotomies that have been performed on laboring women for decades in an attempt to minimize tissue tearing while giving birth. The news? Epesiotomies actually are linked with a higher risk of injury, more trouble healing and more pain. Although most episiotomies are small, researcher Dr. Katherine Hartmann of the University of North Carolina, points out that most spontaneous tears are smaller yet and require no stitches. She estimates that over 1 million women each year have unnecessary episiotomies. In addition to JAMA, a summary can also be found at http://www.ahrq. gov/news/press/pr2005/episobpr.htm
In our opinion, the best way to assure healthy tissue is to eat a good, alkaline pH diet and take the Dynamite basics (Elixir, Regular, TriMins) as your pre- (and post!) natal supplements. You might also add in Hiscorbadyne for vascular strength and even some Izmine in addition to your Elixir, to really make sure you are getting ALL the trace minerals possible
- Bananas & Stomachs . . . Experts say that bananas and
plantains strengthen the surface cells of the stomach lining, forming a sturdier barrier against noxious juices. Rats fed banana powder had a visibly thicker stomach lining. Other rats were fed aspirin and other chemicals to see what happened to the barrier in the stomach. The lining decreased with aspirin and even was thinner with Tagamet. In the rats that were fed both banana powder and aspirin, the banana counteracted the drug's erosive effects and the lining was still increased by almost 20%. Bananas are also great for helping to lower cholesterol because of their high pectin content. One medium banana has as much pectin as a medium size apple. (www. dayzines.com)
