Testimonials
#1 - Macy does it with the help of DynaSpark for Dogs!
My cell phone rang. It was my client Ragan, and she was just ecstatic!
She was driving home from Tulsa and just bubbling all over... she said
she used DynaSpark for dogs on her Brittany "Macy" at the Agility Trials in
Tulsa this weekend and Macy performed better than she ever had and
recovered better than ever: on Saturday they took a first and third. She
had planned on staying in Tulsa that night but had run out of the
DynaSpark she had taken with her. She drove almost three hours home to
get the rest and drove back to Tulsa for Sunday's events where she took
first and second.
She was bouncing off the walls she was so happy! Wanted to make
sure DynaSpark was "legal" (hey, it's only electrolytes!) and said she
wanted to buy some more ASAP. I told her if she was this happy about
the awesome results from just the DS, imagine what she could achieve by
putting Macy on the entire D program and becoming a distributor. She
agreed.
Funny thing is, she knows of the Brittany that is on the front of our
Dynamite dog brochure. She told me she had people asking her if that
was a new dog or what had she had done to the dog? She was amazed
how in the heat and humidity of Tulsa that Macy recovered so well. She
said she had been worried about how much water Macy had been drinking
and we talked about that etc. She had also been told by some famous
agility judge or something that Macy was ready for the Invitationals!
I had originally sold Ragan some DynaSpark for Dogs for her really old
dog with congestive heart failure who the vet had on a ton of Lasix
resulting in problems with potassium deficiencies etc. After being told the
old dog would be dead within days, within hours of starting the DS, the
dog improved and from what I understand is still alive a month later and
doing "okay."
I am hoping that Ragan and "Macy" will soon be a part of our
Dynamite family!

#2 - Sleep at last!
One of my student's husband's had fabulous results with Waiora's
Fast2Sleep. He had not had a full night's sleep in over three years (is on
high blood pressure medication, snores horribly, grumpy all the time from
lack of sleep, is just miserable etc)... after just two nights of using
Fast2Sleep, he has woken up "in a good mood," his eyes aren't puffy and
after four days says he didn't realize how much better life was just
getting some good sleep. My student is also misting his pillow and the
room with Tranquil and admits she is sleeping better than she can
remember also.

Did You Know?...   (from various sources)

  • Low cholesterol dangers - A new study shows that having a
cholesterol level that's too low could give you an increased risk of
developing stomach cancer. This isn't the first news about the dangers
of low cholesterol. Others studies have found links between low
cholesterol and increased death rates from other forms of cancer. This
latest research comes from Japan and suggests, according to
researchers, "that patients with low serum cholesterol should consider
regular gastro-intestinal examination for the prevention of gastric
cancer." Dr. W.C. Douglass states that "... anyone with an LDL
cholesterol number LOWER than 200 risks serious health problems. In
fact, I don't caution anyone to worry about cholesterol at all until their
LDL hits 300 or more... Cholesterol is a marker, and a protective
    mechanism, not a disease."

  • Processed meats - The USDA attempted banning the use of nitrates
and nitrites found in processed meats back in the 1970’s, but the meat
packing industry lobbied hard and won. Recent research has
“reconfirmed” that nitrites and nitrates promote life threatening cancers
including breast, prostate, pancreatic, colorectal, and leukemia. One
study conducted at the University of Hawaii found people who ate even
“moderate” amounts of processed meat on a regular basis increased
their risk of pancreatic cancer by 67%. The World Cancer Research Fund
issued a report stating that “it’s best that processed meats are
avoided,” and that “they were not able to find a level at which
processed meat could be reliably considered completely safe.”

  • Pollution affecting flower odor - Spring's bloom may not smell so
sweet anymore as pollutants from power plants and automobiles
destroy flowers' aromas, a new study suggests. The finding could help
explain why some pollinators, particularly bees, are declining in certain
parts of the world. Researchers at the University of Virginia created a
mathematical model of how the scents of flowers travel with the wind.
The scent molecules produced by the flowers readily bond with
pollutants such as ozone, which destroys the aromas they produce. So
instead of wafting for long distances with the wind, the flowery scents
are chemically altered. Essentially, the flowers no longer smell like
flowers. "The scent molecules produced by flowers in a less polluted
environment, such as in the 1800s, could travel for roughly 1,000 to
1,200 meters [3,300 to 4,000 feet]; but in today's polluted environment
downwind of major cities, they may travel only 200 to 300 meters [650
to 980 feet]," said study team member Jose D. Fuentes. With flowers no
longer advertising their presence over as large an area, pollinators are
forced to search farther and longer to pick up the hint of their scent.
They may also have to rely more on their sight than what they smell.
Bees depend on flower nectar for food, and if they have a hard time
finding the flowers, they can't sustain their populations. Other studies,
along with the experiences of farmers, have indicated that bee
populations are dropping in places such as California and the
Netherlands. Fuentes and his team think air pollution may be the
reason. The research, funded by the National Science Foundation, is
detailed online in the journal Atmospheric Environment.

  • Best for osteoporosis - Noting that hip fracture rates are consistently
higher in some regions of Japan compared to other regions, researchers
at Japan's Iwate Medical University devised a study to assess the effect
of nutrients on hip fracture risk. In both men and women, risk of hip
fracture was lowest in regions with the highest intake of vitamin K. HSI
Panelist Allan Spreen, M.D. says: "The synthetic form (K3, or
menadione) has caused some liver toxicity and, rarely, a form of anemia
when taken in high doses. There's also K2 (or menaquinones), but K1
and K2 are fine. As usual, it seems best to avoid synthetic forms, if
possible. If the individual is on coumadin (blood thinner), he needs to
talk with his doctor, as vitamin K can interfere with its effect."  Almost
all of our dietary intake of vitamin K comes in the form of K1, which is
mostly found in dark, leafy green vegetables, broccoli, asparagus,
tomatoes, avocados, olive oil, whole wheat, butter, and green tea.
Vitamin K1 is converted into K2 in the intestine, but we get some
amount of K2 directly from meat, liver, egg yolk, and fermented
products such as yogurt and cheese. In the Japanese study, researchers
found that one of the key sources of vitamin K was natto, which is made
from fermented soy. The key word here: fermented. Most soy products
sold in the U.S. are not fermented, and regular consumption may do
    more harm than good.

  • Can running cause a heart attack? - A groundbreaking study of long-
distance runners, published in the American Journal of Physiology,
Endocrinology and Metabolism, found that after a workout, “bad”
cholesterol and triglyceride levels increased, and threw blood-clotting
factors off-balance, increasing inflammation and clotting. These are
signs of heart distress and precursors to heart attack. Long-duration
"cardio" workouts cause energy drains forcing the body to store more fat
when it’s at rest. That’s a wise response, since it’ll need extra energy to
burn for all those miles you jog or run. But storing fat’s exactly the
opposite of what you want. And it puts stress on your entire body over
the long haul. Your bones and joints suffer from the continuous impact,
losing density and flexibility. Your heart and lungs shrink and lose their
reserve capacity. The constant physiological “signal” endurance training
sends your body to store fat actually boosts triglyceride blood levels
and cholesterol oxidation – both substances that clog your arteries and
cause heart attacks. Make sure your exercise routines follow principles
that work with your body, boost heart and lungpower, and burn fat while
you’re at rest, such as short, intensive workouts like running up stairs.

  • Broccoli sprouts - A new study, published in the medical journal Cancer
Research, revealed that a concentrated extract from broccoli sprouts
may reduce the development of bladder cancer by over 50 percent. This
study adds to an already staggering amount of research that there is a
significant protective effect among cruciferous vegetables (i.e., kale,
cabbage, collard greens, brussels sprouts, cauliflower and others) when
it comes to cancer. It's the high levels of glucosinates in cruciferous
vegetables that gives them their many health-boosting properties. Once
these chemicals are metabolized by the body, they become effective
    anti-carcinogens called isothicyanates.

  • A wireless link to autism? - A recent, groundbreaking theory has been
suggested by a study published in the Journal of the Australasian
College of Nutritional & Environmental Medicine: Electromagnetic
radiation (EMR) from cell phones, cell towers, Wi-Fi devices and other
similar wireless technologies may work in conjunction with genetic and
environmental factors, becoming an accelerating factor in autism. After
more than five years of research on children with autism they found that
EMR negatively affects cell membranes, allowing heavy metal toxins,
which are associated with autism, to build up in your body. EMR can trap
heavy metals inside of nerve cells, which could accelerate the onset of
symptoms of heavy metal toxicity, and hinder your body’s natural
    clearance of the toxins.

  • Sunscreen: 21st Century Snake Oil - According to Jon Herring, co-
author with Dr. Al Sears of the book Your Best Health Under the Sun,
states that almost all commercial sunscreens contain not just one but
several chemicals, known as xenoestrogens, that mimic the hormone
estrogen. One Swiss study that found five of these chemicals in
    commonly used sunscreens: Octyl-dimethyl-PABA (OD-PABA),
    Benzophenone-3 (Bp-3), Homosalate (HMS), Octyl-methoxycinnamate
(OMC), and 4-methyl-benzylidene camphor (4-MBC). In laboratory
testing, each one of these chemicals behaves like estrogen. And when
they are combined, they can have a synergistic effect. In other words,
two "weak" xenoestrogens can produce a very strong response. Not only
does this disrupt the hormonal system, but these chemicals are known
to stimulate tumor growth and the spread of cancer. (Not to mention a
decline in male sperm count, early puberty, and feminine characteristics
in men.) And don't think you're safe just because you don't "ingest"
these chemicals. Clinical studies show that they easily penetrate the
skin and enter the bloodstream. Whenever possible, you should avoid
using chemical sunscreen. Protect yourself from sunburn with clothing
and shade. And when it is necessary to use sunscreen, look for a
chemical-free product with zinc oxide as the active ingredient. (You can
find several brands at health food stores.)   . . . and diets filled with
Omega 3 fats, B vitamins, and phytochemicals from organic fruits and
veggies strengthens skin so it can utilize sunlight appropriately and
make plenty of protective Vit D!

  • The Candida-Heavy Metal Connection - In her book, Yeast Infection
No More, author Linda Allen states: The intense existence of harmful
chemicals and toxic metals in our environment, in the medicines that we
take, in the food that we eat and even in our dental fillings, creates a
huge challenge for our body to effectively rid itself from these toxins
resulting in a vicious cycle that manifests itself in a variety of
symptoms and health problems, among them is candida albicans
overgrowth that causes the symptoms of yeast infection to appear.
Chemical and toxic metal build up inside the body can also lead to
hormonal imbalance, genetic alterations, immune system misfunction,
poor elimination, slower healing process, skin problems, allergies and
nerve and brain damage. The presence of heavy metals in the body
(lead, silver, mercury) coming from food, the air that we breath,
medicines and dental fillings (contain 50% amalgam), create an acidic
and anaerobic (lacks oxygen) environment that encourages candida
yeast overgrowth. When there is toxic metal overload in the intestine,
the intestinal lining produces extra mucus to block metals from being
absorbed into the blood stream. The problem is that this mucus creates
an environment, which lacks oxygen, thus encourages bacteria and fungi
like organisms such as candida yeast to grow out of control. Moreover,
candida binds to heavy metals (even in your amalgam fillings) and
overgrows as the body performs a desperate attempt to protect itself
against heavy metal poisoning. A deep metal detoxification combined
with the gradual removal of amalgam dental filling and replacing them
with safer white fillings is one of the most important and fundamentals
steps in battling candida yeast infection and restoring the body back
into balance. ... to discover an effective and efficient form of home
chelation therapy to remove heavy metals from the system, please

  • Flavanols to the rescue - In an 8-year study, people who consumed the
highest levels of three powerful flavonols -- kaempferol, quercetin, and
myricetin -- reduced their risk of pancreatic cancer by 23 percent. This
particular super trio of flavonols helps quell oxidative stress, a cell-
damaging process that, left unchecked, may pave the way for cancer
and other bad health news. Overall, onions and certain leafy greens like
arugula are one way to get these particular flavonols. Here are some
    others:
  • Kaempferol: kale, swiss chard, endive, raw spinach, chives, and
    white beans
  • Quercetin: asparagus, apples, buckwheat, and tea
  • Myricetin: fennel, blueberries, cranberries, and carob flour

Point to Ponder #1 - Shocking news about the latest
combo vaccine by William Douglass, M.D.
http://www.douglassreport.com/dailydose/dd200804/dd20080404a.html

For years, I've been sounding the warning about the potential dangers of
vaccines. I've told you that their effectiveness is questionable, and their
side effects unknown. And I'm sad to say that my warnings have finally
come to pass. Recently, a Merck & Co. vaccine caused some children to
suffer from fever-related convulsions.

The vaccine is called ProQuad, and it's a combination of the MMR
(measles, mumps, rubella) and chickenpox vaccines. It turns out that the
toddlers who were given ProQuad - ages 12 to 23 months - had twice as
many seizures as the kids who received the chickenpox vaccine and the
MMR vaccine separately.

Incredibly, the results actually caused a federal advisory panel on
vaccines to step back from recommending ProQuad over the individual
vaccines. This marks a rare - if tepid - step down from the usual
government endorsement of all things inoculation-related.

It's no wonder these kids are experiencing adverse reactions. The amount
of chickenpox antigen found in ProQuad is - are you ready for this? - FIVE
TIMES higher than in the stand-alone chickenpox vaccine. So not only
does ProQuad have measles, mumps and rubella - it's also the equivalent
of five chickenpox shots. All in one shot. For children.

The government advisory panel on vaccines had stated prior to these
incidents that the preferred method of vaccine administration would have
doctors giving "as few needle sticks as possible, which in their mind made
a combination vaccine such a ProQuad superior to separate shots.

Funny … my preference would be no shots at all!

In the wake of the convulsion issue, however, the advisory panel is,
according to the article that I read, "no longer voicing a preference for
ProQuad over the separate shots." Incredible, isn't it. Here's a vaccine
that's statistically proven to cause a greater risk of seizures, and the best
the government "advisory panel" - whatever that is - can do is to "no
longer voice a preference." Why can't they condemn ProQuad and other
combo vaccines until further research is done? Why hasn't the FDA been
called in rather than relying on this so-called "advisory panel" and their
milquetoast half-retreat from their pro-vaccine stand?

Am I the only one whose nostrils are filled with the foul stench of Big
Pharma money? How else can you describe a federal agency not dropping
the hammer on a firm with what seems to be a defective product? If it
were somehow proven that McDonald's hamburgers were twice as likely to
cause children (or anyone else for that matter) to choke, how quickly
would the "powers that be" move to yank every single burger directly out
of Happy Meal boxes throughout North America? Trust me on this: the
answer is lightning fast - and you know it.

The ProQuad seizure case is yet another black mark on vaccines. I'm
surprised (as I often am) that I seem to be the only one pointing these
things out. I just hope that the autism lobbies can sink their teeth into
this issue and use it for fodder. I don't care why people stop getting
vaccines - as long as they stop getting them.

Point to Ponder #2 - Cardboard Coffins and Bamboo
Urns Make for Eco-Exits
Associated Press

LONDON, England —  It's no longer enough to live a greener life—now
people are being encouraged to be environmentally friendly when they
leave the Earth too.

Cardboard coffins, clothes sewn from natural fibers, a burial plot in a
natural setting. Green funerals attempt to be eco-friendly at every stage.

"People are trying to think about what's the best way to live and with
that, what's the best way to die," said Roslyn Cassidy, a funeral director
for Green Endings, which provides eco-friendly funerals.

Britain has been a world leader in eco-friendly funerals for years and a
source of green burial products and ideas for countries like the United
States, where the trend is just starting to catch on. Over the weekend in
London, those in the business showcased their products and services at
the Natural Death Center's Green Funeral Exhibition.

Some may expect green funerals to be as cheap as a do-it-yourself
project, while others might brace for price hikes similar to those fair trade
food.

But, funeral directors say green funerals—like any—run the gamut. "It's
about choice, not price," said Fran Hall, marketing director for Epping
Forest Burial Park.

Point to Ponder #3 - Popular Skin Care Products
Labeled Natural Contain Harmful Chemical
Fox News, Blog Name: Whole Food And More

A few months ago I wrote about using Organic skin and personal care
products. A recent study found that many of the most popular "natural"
personal care products contain a carcinogenic substance called
contaminant 1,4-Dioxane. (1,4-Dioxane is a by-product of cheap, short cut
compounds, and is considered a chemical "known to the State of
California to cause cancer." It is also suspected as a kidney toxicant,
neuro-toxicant and respiratory toxicant, among others, according to the
California EPA, and is a leading groundwater contaminant.)

None of the brands that were found to contain this ingredient are certified
under the USDA National Organic Program. At least that's good news. It
was discovered that some supposedly natural products contain this
disease causing ingredient.

Some of the brands that have been found to contain this carcinogenic
chemical include:
* Jason
* Kiss My Face
* Giovanni Organic Cosmetics
* Nature's Gate Organics
* Nutri Biotic
* Ecover Washing Liquid
* Healthy Times Baby Herbal Garden
* Whole Foods own Brand (365)
* Alba (some of Alba's products do not contain this chemical)
* Sea Chi Organics
* Citrus Magic

Some of the Brands that were tested to be Free of this dangerous
ingredient include:
* Aubrey Organics
* Dr. Hauschka
* Nourish Food for Your Healthy Skin
* EO
* Avalon Organics
* Burt's Bees
* Desert Essence
* Zia

In a time when people are increasingly trying to buy natural products that
don't contain harmful chemicals, it is a shame that these companies have
done this because it makes people skeptical.

. . . Dynamite has some superb skin care products or always consider
making your own!

Point to Ponder #4 -Vitamin K2 proved to be elusive X-
factor by Chris Masterjohn, Weston Price Foundation
In 1945, Dr. Weston Price described "a new vitamin-like activator" that
played an influential role in the utilization of minerals, protection from
tooth decay, growth and development, reproduction, protection against
heart disease and the function of the brain.

Using a chemical test, he determined that this compound—which he called
Activator X—occurred in the butterfat, organs and fat of animals
consuming rapidly growing green grass, and also in certain sea foods such
as fish eggs.

Dr. Price died before research by Russian scientists became known in the
West. These scientists used the same chemical test to measure a
compound similar to vitamin K.

Vitamin K2 is produced by animal tissues, including the mammary glands,
from vitamin K1, which occurs in rapidly growing green plants.

A growing body of published research confirms Dr. Price's discoveries,
namely that vitamin K2 is important for the utilization of minerals,
protects against tooth decay, supports growth and development, is
involved in normal reproduction, protects against calcification of the
arteries leading to heart disease, and is a major component of the brain.

Vitamin K2 works synergistically with the two other "fat-soluble
activators" that Price studied, vitamins A and D. Vitamins A and D signal
to the cells to produce certain proteins and vitamin K then activates these
proteins.

Vitamin K2 plays a crucial role in the development of the facial bones,
and its presence in the diets of nonindustrialized peoples explains the
wide facial structure and freedom from dental deformities that Weston
Price observed.

Point to Ponder #5 - Blood Transfusions May Have
Killed Millions by Jon Barron

Last October, I wrote a blog entry about the dangers associated with
blood transfusions. It was triggered by a study out of Duke University
that found that transfusions increase your risk of heart attack and death.
According to the study, the problem is that the oxygen-transporting
efficacy of stored blood begins to decay almost immediately. This is
because stored red blood cells become deficient in nitric oxide, thus
limiting their ability to get oxygen to tissues that need it. Nitric oxide
opens up blood vessels, which allows oxygen carrying blood to reach the
tissues served by those vessels. In vitro studies show that levels of S-
nitrohemoglobin (the molecule that carries nitric oxide in the blood)
decline rapidly in stored red blood cells. There is a 70% drop in the first
day of storage. By the twenty-first day, the molecule was below the level
of detectability. In the U.S., red blood cells can legally be stored up to 42
days before blood banks are required to discard them. But the problem is
even worse than it sounds. Not only is transfused blood deficient in nitric
oxide, but because it's deficient, it actually sucks nitric oxide out of the
surrounding tissue to compensate. This causes that tissue to constrict
and become deoxygenated. If that tissue happens to be heart muscle,
you have a real problem.

Well, the issue is back in the news, thanks to a couple of new studies.

Menu of the Month - Dad's Day Surf & Turf & Garden
If Memorial Day didn't bring out the grill, then surely Dad's day will! Here
are some great grilling suggestions for you. Just remember to get REAL
meat from pastured-only cattle/bison, either locally from your health food
store or growers or from the internet choices I offer on my Human
Nutrition
page. Only wild-caught cold-water fish, also available from those
links. To make life a little more exciting, try the raw options which avoid
having to heat up the grill! The key is the marinade!
CONSIDER GOING RAW!
Sound a bit carnivorous and spooky to eat raw meat? Have you ever eaten
sushi or enjoyed some proscuitto? Both of them are raw: sushi of course if
fish and proscuitto is pork.
Ceviche, carpacio, sashimi, tartare in all it's
forms, are all sweeping the American scene so much that we're seeing
them on the cooking shows! Good for you, too (if you're getting pure
meats) since cooking proteins can actually make them less digestible. For
more raw options, visit Kieba's RetroRaw
page!
... Hope you enjoy this mixed offering!

                                       SURF
MARINADE - mix together in a flat-bottomed glass baking dish:
juice of 2 limes, 1T olive oil, 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger, a dash of
cayenne, and enough fresh ground black pepper to suit your taste.
PREPARATION - add 2 fish steaks (1" thick & about 10 oz each serves 6)
45-60 minutes, turning 2-3 times.
BROIL or GRILL-
1) Grill or broil about 3" from high heat, turn after about 4 minutes per
side, brushing/basting often with marinade
2) Remove to a platter, let rest a minute or two, carve and serve on a bed
of greens with plenty of grilled vegetables.
CEVICHE - A traditional South American raw fish dish "cooked" in lime or
lemon juice, it is now considered gourmet fare. And yes, raw fish is safe
as long as it is purchased from a reliable source such as i offer on my
Human Nutrition page or fished fresh from a cold, high Rocky Mountain
Steam! All cultures have raw fish dishes - think sushi!
1) slice slightly frozen fish steak very thin with a very sharp knife
2) place thin slices of fish into the marinade for from just minutes while
you prepare a salad or whatever, or the more traditional way of leaving it
in about 3 hours
3) serve on a bed of greens along with salsa of choice

                                       TURF
- these recipes call for 2 flank steaks, less expensive than other cuts,
about 1# each for six servings of grilled or 1 - 1# steak for ceviche for six
or more servings
MARINADE - mix together in a flat-bottomed glass baking dish:
1) 3 T @ red-wine vinegar & olive oil with NTM salt & fresh ground pepper
to taste
OR
2) 2/3 cup @ dry red wine & soy sauce
6 large cloves of garlic, peeled and smashed
1/3 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
... but feel free to experiment with your own favorite marinade!
PREPARATION - Add the steaks to the marinade, cover and refrigerate
for 30 minutes to overnight, turning once.
BROIL or GRILL
1) Broil or grill the steaks over high heat, 3 inches from the heat source,
for approximately 3 minutes per side for rare meat (4 min for med rare).
2) Remove to a cutting board and let rest for 10 minutes.
3) Slice thinly on the diagonal and arrange on a bed of greens and grilled
vegetables.
CARPACCIO - Hugely popular in gourmand circles (usually using
tenderloin), this is also one of the most healthful ways of eating good red
meat, or even fish. If you're concerned about the safety of your meat,
Sally Fallon in Nourishing Traditions (and on
www.westonaprice.org)
suggests freezing it for 14 days which destroys all possible parasites and
the marinade can complete that. Of course buying really pure meat in the
first place is vital!
1) Slice, with a very sharp thin knife, slightly frozen steak diagonally
across the grain into the thinnest slices you can - no more than 1/8"
2) If necessary, place slices on plastic wrap, cover with another sheet of
wrap and pound away with a meat pounder, a cast iron skillet or a heavy
can or roll with a rolling pin to get the meat thinner
3) Marinate as above and serve on greens (traditionally arrugula is used),
saucing with the marinade and garnishing with shaved Parmegiano
Regiano
NOTE: for a "surf & turf" version, roll a piece of carpaccio around an
anchovy!

Steak Tartare - This popular traditional French dish (actually almost all
cultures/countries have their own version) was actually one of my
mother's favorites, so this is her recipe. Dad ate it but he preferred his
Boston baked beans. ... so much for stereotypes!
1) Mix together in a bowl: 1T @ minced onion & drained capers, 1 tsp @
brown mustard & Worcestershire sauce, a splash of Mirin, brandy or
cognac, 1 egg yolk (pastured only), 1 tsp minced parsley, and NTM
salt/freshly ground pepper to taste
2) gently add 1# ground sirloin or tenderloin (beef or bison)
3) Cover & refrigerate one hour
4) Serve scooped (with an ice cream scoop) onto a bed of Romaine lettuce
with toasted gluten-free-sprouted-grain pita/tortilla wedges, lemon slices,
chopped scallions and/or a yogurt/horseradish sauce on the side.
5) To eat, spread some tartare on the pita, sprinkle with fresh lemon juice
(or the dressing), sprinkle with scallions and more freshly ground pepper
and enjoy! Or skip the pita and simply roll in some romaine.
NOTES:
1) Many people prefer to add chopped anchovies to the mixture; delete
salt if doing so.
2) To make even more nutritious, with a knife edge, scrape off all fascia,
etc. from 1# whole meat; add 1-2T of marrow from bones, chop very fine
or run through your grinder 2 times; then go from there. Omit egg yolk if
using marrow.

Words of Wisdom ....SWAMI BEYONDANANDA'S
GUIDELINES for ENLIGHTENMENT

Swami says:

1. Be a Fundamentalist--make sure the Fun always comes before da
mental. Realise that life is a situation comedy that will never be
cancelled. A laugh track has been provided, and the reason why we are
put in the material world is to get more material. Have a good laughsitive
twice a day, and that will ensure reguhilarity.

2. Remember that each of us has been given a special gift, just for
entering--so you are already a winner.

3. The most powerful tool on the planet today is Tell-A-Vision. That is
where I tell a vision to you and you tell a vision to me. That way, if we
don't like the programming we're getting, we can simply change the
channel.

4. Life is like photography. You use the negative to develop. And, no
matter what adversity you face, be reassured: Of course God loves you--
He's just not ready to
make a commitment.

5. It is true. As we go through life thinking heavy thoughts, thought
particles tend to get caught between the ears, causing a condition called
truth decay. So be sure to
use mental floss twice a day. And when you're tempted to practice
tantrum yoga, remember what we teach in Swami's Absurdiveness
Training class: "Don't get even, get odd."

6. If we want world peace, we must let go of our attachments and truly
live like nomads. That's where I no mad at you, you no mad at me. That
way, there'll surely be nomadness on the planet. And peace begins with
each of us. A little peace here, a little peace there, pretty soon all the
peaces will fit together to make one big peace everywhere.

7. I know great earth changes have been predicted for the future, so if
you're looking to avoid earthquakes, my advice is simple. When you find a
fault, just don't dwell on it.

8. There's no need to change the world. All we have to do is toilet train
the world, and we'll never have to change it again.

9. If you're looking to find the key to the Universe, I have some bad news
and some good news. The bad news is---there is no key to the Universe.
The good news is--it has been left unlocked.

10. Finally, everything I have told you is channelled. That way, if you
don't like it, it's not my fault. And remember, enlightenment is not a
bureaucracy. So, we don't have to go through channels.
