. . . a Guide for Living Energetically

Nutrition

While Nutrition may not be the be-all and
end-all of balanced health, it certainly is
the best beginning, aside from actual
detoxification, we have.

Unfortunately, so very many of our modern
day ills and diseases can be traced back very definitively to
our diets. That also holds true of the animals who live with
us.

In fact, by eating purely within the framework of a
species-specific diet, or that upon which a species evolved,
we can go a long way to detoxifying ourselves and avoiding
many future toxins.

Eating strictly whole organically grown produce (preferably
our own or locally grown) and free-range animal products
while forgoing all the popular packaged "convenience" and
"diet" foods, we can go a long way to ridding our bodies of
stored toxins.

We also need to avoid sugar in all it's modern multitude
forms. This is probably, along with all the chemical flavor
enhancers, colorings, preservatives, and sugar alternatives,
the single-most deleterious substance we can ingest. And
yes, our pets are addicted to it also!

I do have a fairly thorough discussion of nutrition and diet in
my
Living Energetically book, but my upcoming The Real
Food Diet will go into greater detail with literally hundreds
of recipes and even a pet feeding section.

But here on my website, we'll take a quick look, an
over-view, at a more balanced diet for
Humans, Horses, Pets
and yes, our
Soil. After all, the concept of humans eating
mostly processed or fast foods, or dogs eating grains, or
horses eating sweet feeds and alfalfa, or soils requiring
toxic chemicals, are all less than a hundred years old. They
are modern fads. Mindful awareness of Nature, and all that
means, and returning to true, traditional ways of eating, are
essential for true harmony.
